What does graduating In Absentia mean?
Ordinarily, students must be registered for the semester in which they graduate. Graduating In Absentia allows a doctoral or master’s candidate to apply to graduate without formally enrolling in courses.
Who is eligible to graduate In Absentia?
Doctoral/master’s candidates who do not make the semester deadlines for finalizing their dissertation/thesis have the option to graduate In Absentia the following semester if they meet the following criteria:
